We provide a variety of professional services, both for individuals and groups, including these:

• Enneagram typing

All of our associates are vetted and certified in their fields. We trust them completely…but also understand that the belief systems of each are their own and may not reflect the perspectives of the Center. Kellie Daley

Kellie walks with men and women seeking spiritual growth and personal empowerment. Trained at The Second Breath Center, The Transforming Center, and The Phoenix Center for Spiritual Direction, Kellie offers spiritual direction, group spiritual direction, centering prayer groups, and Enneagram typing. She has a graduate degree from Columbia International University and has been mentoring women since 1990. Her passions are gender equality, the mystical journey, good wine, and her grandson…not necessarily in that order. Jerome Daley

Jerome helps leaders know themselves and become the best version of themselves so they can extend a more trustworthy influence on others. Trained at The Institute for Life Coach Training, The Center for Coaching Excellence, The Second Breath Center, The Transforming Center, and The Phoenix Center for Spiritual Direction, Jerome offers leadership coaching, spiritual direction, retreat & sabbatical coaching, pre-marital coaching, and Enneagram typing. He has a graduate degree from Columbia International University, is an ordained minister and Professional Certified Coach, and has been supporting leaders since 1990. Anthony Shelton

Anthony partners with men as a soul friend and group facilitator. Holding credentials as a Board Certified Coach (BCC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC), Anthony has earned graduate degrees from Asbury Theological Seminary, is an Ordained Minister, and has been strengthening men in their spiritual journey since 1987. John Freeman

John offers spiritual direction and discipleship for individuals, couples, and ministry leaders. Certified in spiritual direction from Dr. Larry Crabb’s New Way Ministries and The Phoenix School of Spiritual Direction, John also earned his Masters of Divinity degree from Columbia International University. After serving 12 years as a youth pastor, John currently serves for a non-profit called Grace Discipleship. John has been married to his wife Emily for twenty years and they have twin girls who are seventeen and their son is fifteen. Sarah DeShields

Sarah is a spiritual director, musician, and photographer. Originally from Scotland, her spirituality is connected to the Celtic practice of finding The Divine present in all things, particularly in the ecology of our world. Sarah graduated from the Charlotte Spirituality Center where it has become her deepest honor and delight to sit with people from all walks of life, beliefs, and experiences, offering companionship in the journey of discovering our own holy discernment. Sarah lives in the mountains of North Carolina with her husband and two children, where as an artist she explores themes of Liminality, Life-Death-Life cycles, and our sense of place and identity in connection to land. Mary Yerkes

Mary is a trained, trauma-informed Spiritual Director, a Certified Life and Leadership Coach, and a widely published writer in spiritual formation, marketplace leadership, and soul care. Trained at Sustainable Faith’s School of Spiritual Direction and School for Contemplative Living, the Institute of Life Coach Training (ILCT), the Professional Christian Coaching Institute (PCCI), and The Academies, Mary offers spiritual direction, life and leadership coaching, mentoring, sabbatical coaching, and prayer for inner healing. She also works with emerging and established non-fiction writers, helping them attain their writing and publishing goals. She has been strengthening the souls of leaders for more than two decades. It is our belief at The Vining Center that soul companionship (coaching, spiritual direction, mentoring, etc) should be available to everyone who needs it, not just those with large amounts of discretionary income. To that end, we have made our associates available for sessions at no minimum price. As you select your preferred day and time, you will choose the button that says “Pay What You Want” and add an amount that honors both your financial resources and your associate’s presence.

In the general market, sessions range anywhere from $50 a session to $200, so we trust your discernment. If you are out of a job or struggling financially, contribute a small amount; if you have plenty and believe in our mission, contribute a large amount that will help us serve others. The exception to this pricing policy is Organizational / Executive Coaching with Jerome, which is priced at market rate. Whatever your situation, we count it a privilege to walk with you in this sacred journey called "life.” Welcome!
